Or 20-somethig dudes saying in 2005-2006 that home prices never fall

And look at prices now. My house is worth twice as much now if not more. Hahaha you guys are great. Please feel free to invest using the same techniques as you have been. I know I will.

Uh huh. And how many people lost everything during the meltdown? I'm sure your current house value is comforting to them. :laughing

Home prices in many parts of the country have merely broke even since the crash. The Bay Area is an anomaly, or possibly even a bubble.

People (not necessarily you) like to pat themselves on the back for their intelligent home purchase, when most of their luck was merely due to the Bay Area's economy.

Nothing to do with crypto BTW. I just had to take a dig at the flippers on another rider forum who said home values would never fall. A couple years later they stopped posting. :laughing

I have no idea. Why don't you just give us the stats. Also if you lost your house in the last down turn you probably shouldn't have even owned it in the first place. If you are going to own a home you need as much capital set aside a possible for maintenance and future mortgage payments. You need at least one year of mortgage payments set aside. If you don't then yes you are taking a gamble. The slightest hiccup and you loose everything. Don't be a sore loser if it doesn't work out. Same with bitcoin.

disclaimer: I am not invested in Kodak and until I am satisfied with their financials I don't plan on investing

Kodak is using blockchain as a form of copyright protection for photographs online to ensure content creators are rewarded for their content. Now, I don't know the specifics and am curious to learn more, but that sounds like an actual, ready-to-market, mass appeal that could gain widespread traction if adopted by big content names.

If protecting IP or Copyright is a useful thing blockchain can do, then yeah Kodak may be on to something. Hard to not see it as a hysteria induced money grab in this current environment tho.

Kodak has increasingly become an irrelevant company ever since digital cameras pretty much eliminated film camera's.

I think that this is a desperation move on their part to become relevant again, but I don't see any compelling reason to think that they'll succeed any better than any other company.

agreed, although they did beat their 3Q2017 earnings per share big time I am curious to see what they report for 4Q2017

Just make some sort of app or social media platform to accomplish that. I don't see the need for blockchain.

just wait, instead of a .jpg it will be .kdk and you can create your own .kdk and upload to internet and based off views you will get paid :thumbup

I am not trying to shill and again I have zero invested with Kodak..i am just doing a thought experiment to see where blockchain tech can go :)

TRX is already doing this and not just with pictures.
