Breaking Bad, Cont'd. (SPOILERS!!!)

Redemption after that shitty episode with the fly. Epic Coup de Grace from Heisenberg. I wonder how that will sit with Gus. They were his "trusted employees."

Do all you Jesse haters now realize how integral he is to the show? The show is primarily about the relationship of Walt and Jesse.

Agreed.

I think Gus is going to have zero tolerance for Jesse, and probably have him removed. Walt will defend Jesse and save him , while fucking over Gus , and yada yada yada.. a new season begins.

Yup, I think this next episode will set up Walt and Jesse in an adversarial relationship to Gus and next season explores Walt/Jesse vs. Gus.

Q: Have Walt and Jesse been getting paid part of their $3M or are they to receive a lump sum at the end of their service? If the former, that sets them up as competitors to Gus. If the latter, then it continues the cycle of them being hamsters on the wheel, needing to cook for money.

I think it's a 3M at the end of the deal, which is why Walt was worried about what happens after the contract is over.

how many times is walt going to replace that windshield [it's broken again]?

and he's wearing the heisenberg hat so you know he's hardcore again: although running down two drug dealers and capping one off in cold blood was a hint, i guess.

anyway, i think mr pollo is going to start having problems with the cartel [you didn't think they'd just go away?] and walt is too valuable to kill, jesse isn't, but he is to walt, so jesse isn't going away any time soon.

And walt didn't just help jesse because he was right, he helped him out because he views him almost as a son [walt's chat with jane's dad in the bar last season cleared that up if there was any doubt]. walt went to saul and then mr pollo to protect jesse from himself and when that wasn't going to happen, he took matters into his own hands to protect him: just like most parents would.

i have trouble calling jesse and walt's relationship a friendship because i really don't think they like each other and it seems deeper than that. they seem to love each other like family members do. you see it less with jesse but it comes through sometimes, when he's caught off guard and drops his bullshit wigger persona: sort of in the same way that one may manifest love for their troubled adolescent fairly often while seeing it less frequently [if ever at all] from them.

so we're going to see tio wheelchair again [bet on it] probably with a new army of crazed axe wielding messicans [although i still think gold plated machetes would be more in line with the spirit of michoacan]: maybe not this week but next season, definitely.

and who would have thought that jesse would become the show's moral compass :laughing

I am really hoping Jesse is killed Sunday or VERY early next season. I would much rather see a plot line develop that deals with Walt and Gus strengthening their relationship as they deal with a pissed off Mexican Cartel, and a rejuvenated local DEA office refocusing its effort on the elusive Heisenberg. Jesse's character has played itself out. Kill him and lets move on.

If they were going to kill Jesse he'd be dead already. It's not going to happen. I agree, I would like to see Jesse done away with and Walt going superstar in the business; aided by Skylar and possibly Hank and Marie.

Oh yea, and Hank losing the bet with Marie. The look on his face and the look on her face and he as getting wheeled out of the hospital was priceless! :laughing

amazing episode last nite

Walt has big brass ones

The two thugs killing the 11yo boy was shocking. Surprised they did that after Gus said "no children".

Well that was kind of the "gotcha!"

He agreed to no children, but as always there are no real details discussed. So they just offed the kid since they didn't want to take care of him. To Gus, that was probably in line with the "no children" policy. Keep everything in perspective, this is a Columbian drug lord. He does not give a fuck about SHIT. Let alone some random kid whose lost his way in to drug dealing and gangs. Just a pawn in his game. Cold blooded motherfucker, really.

Shit, Im not even Mexican, and I want a gold plated machete!

That motherfucker is stone cold..

yup...

but you can see that he processes everything first and then he gets stone cold when all the avenues have been explored in his mind.

Just started the series like two weeks ago; just finished/caught up today - perfect timing. :thumbup

Finale tonight.

Please tell me what happened in the first three minutes.

I turned it on when Walt was sitting in his car in the desert.

Thank you.
