Breaking Bad, Cont'd. (SPOILERS!!!)

OK, two episodes into Season 4...

Kinda slow so far. Ep1 showed Gus is beyond badass. Ep2 showed Walt wants to kill Gus. What's with Skyler's determination to buy the car wash? Why is the car wash such a good money laundering operation? It seemed like Jesse was fine with the murder but now it's gonna eat him up. He'll do more drugs and be an even less reliable liability to Walt. Who called Walt in the middle of the street, Gus or Mike?

Nice job by the Ep2 gun consultant* but then the prop wrangler went and F'ed it up with a serial number on the barrel. (*Except for the part about the defaced guns costing 5X retail. Try 1/5th.)
 
I believe it was Mike that called Walter when he was in the middle of the street.

I think Skyler just wants to be involved and is convinced buying the car wash makes more sense in terms of telling a story to family, friends, etc since Walt used to work there.
 
I love this show, but as was stated by 2stroke; it is getting off to a sloooow start.

I really hope they solve the Jessie problem- by putting him in a hole in the desert!!!

I'm sick of him. I think that Mike (the man who punched Walt) will join with Walt against Mr Pollo. Somebody is definately after Mr Pollo's slice of the drug trade- that's why they shot up his truck.
 
Maybe the Cartel will do Walt a favor?

Back to our discussion- I agree with you about Dexter. I'm watching Season 3 on Netflix. I love that show.
 
That was some high drama when Walt had to watch Gayle's karaoke CD with Hank laughing. It made up for that painfully long scene with Walt and Skyler rehearsing, that sucked.

(Am I a goober if I knew W.W. was Walt Whitman?)

If a Pollo Chicken truck gets shot to hell in the desert and 3 men die, does anybody notice? Did Mike just drive it to its destination full of bullet holes or did he stash it? Gus can't have police investigating why one of his trucks was shot up.

I'll bet Mike is driving Jesse to a nice rehab facility.

I bet you are correct about the 'rehab' thing. I wish they would just shoot him and be done with it. I'm sick of his character.
 
He's not going anywhere. Walt has had quite a few problems caused by Jesse. But he's kinda still alive because of him too in case you all forgot the season finale. Annoying character, but very well acted by Aaron Paul.

I feel bad for those 3 Women though.
 
I liked Anna Gunn's line at the end. I believe it was, "I'm the one who protects the family against the man who protects the family." Thought that was pretty good.

I loved the scene where Jesse took over the meth house...very cool. During the commercial break I had to look up the translation of the Spanish written on the lid. I couldn't wait for it to be explained to me later.

What do you think Gus's long term goal is for Jesse? I can't really figure it out yet...

I also loved the next scene where it showed him shaving his head in the shower; very Prison-like.

I also loved how Jessie was able to get into that Meth House. LOL!!!!

I'm pretty sick of the Jesse character as well, and have been been wishing he would be killed off since last season. However, if they continue down the path they're heading with his character...where he has some balls, isnt quite a fuck up and finds some real ability, then I may stop wanting him dead.

Anybody care to take a guess at what Skyler was flipping the coin over? Her Marriage? Going to the cops? something else?
