Bump if you rode into work today

Okay...so here is my pic for the day.
My son got these for me as a Christmas present last year. They are nifty and comfy. I don't know if it's just me being douchey over the CF blingage or if they truly do make controls less stressful...but my hands don't get tired like they used to with the old stock levers.

Anyone got any other thoughts on gift ideas I can give to the family for my ride?

TIA :thumbup

P.S. I'm utilitarian at heart so cosmetic only upgrades will be lower priority.

I'm 99.9% sure I parked next to vespaman1 today! I would post a pic but he's got the license plate in his FS ad blanked out so I don't really want to post a pic of his plate without his permission.

Maybe I'll go out and take a pic from the front instead.

Haha that's awesome...now if only he would post a pic in this thread and the circle would be complete! :teeth:laughing

Oooh fancy, I like those levers...

Do you have a headlight / brakelight modulator? Clearwater LED's?

Heated gear.
Rain suit.
Heated grips.
Handlebar mount for phone.
Spark plugs to throw at douchebags on ZX636's.

Ghetto blurred his plate because I'm too lazy to walk down there for another picture. :laughing

Them's some sweet looking levers Coco. :thumbup

:thumbup I know exactly where you are... I usually park a few bays down to your left :thumbup

Awesome! I usually park on Jessie St but I came in late today so it was filled up by the time I got there (and the remaining spots all had trash in them :rolleyes ).

Ready for Hawthorne.

back on two wheels after getting my M7RRs fitted Saturday... only freeway miles on them so far so no chance of much lean angle or wear yet but new tires always feel good :thumbup

It makes it a little bit ugly, but windshields are a wonderful thing. :laughing

The guy riding with me was on a WR250, you should see his faceshield. :rofl

Was it you who went to Hawthorne on a WR250? Or maybe Cookie Monster? You guys are crazy...:laughing

I was surprised with how much easier the bike turns in, the old tires were worn in the center so you had to really push it into a turn. Almost kissed the apex marker on the first real corner :laughing

Also surprised with how much room I have left to lean before running out of rear tire. I get right up to 50 degrees and still have a good half inch of rubber :teeth:ride

Wasn't me - could have been Cookie Monster. I'm generally not able to do long rides due to scheduling issues, but hopefully one day! For now I keep myself happy with the occasional urbex ride and/or twisties if I can get the time.

I'm pretty sure that was Cookie that took the WR to the moon and back.
I'd want something bigger.
(fuggin kids these days)

I can never resist getting on the throttle on that street. All the echoes make it sound so good.

Definitely wasn't me, either. I canceled because I thought I wouldn't be able to ride, and also because I didn't think I'd get my new seat in by then and didn't want to do it on the stock seat.

Seat came in Thursday night though... :| Definitely wish I could have gone!
