Rode the wr to work for the first time today, riding it tomorrow also so the fabricator can make me a rear rack
 
Friday mornings are great.... even more so when the sun is shining over the city when you cross over the bay bridge...

Agreed, nice weather :) I didn't ride to work today because I want to be sure my bike is ready for tomorrow's ride to the Junction / Del Puerto

Installed the Power Commander last night, flashed a map I found online and prayed it wouldn't blow up today on the way to work. :teeth

It's kind of lean but I think it'll be fine for now. I'm not riding in to work next week and I'll be getting it tuned next weekend.

I just hope I don't blow the WR up with this 90 mile/day commute. That's why I'm going to have it tuned next weekend.

The brand new, first release 250 EXC-F. But I think I'd rather go with the 350 because I do more street than offroad.

Holy shit that's a long commute on a supermoto - you go on with your bad self! :thumbup

So...clearly you need to stop at Zeitgeist today and rest up before that long commute ;)
 
if it was me parking that in town I would be putting on some extra security anyway... far too easy to pick up and load into a van for it not to be chained somehow
 
I actually just picked up comprehensive only on my BMW specifically for insurance against theft. That's the thing I worry about. I can do the work myself, but I have to have the bike in my possession to fix it :|

LOL, if only I had room in my garage for another bike...whole family rides and we have 6 motos in the garage. In order for me to get my 350 EXC-F I gotta sell one :(

Chains are too much of a [heavy] pain and you can't always use it depending on where you park. Since I'm often bouncing around SF (yes I park on the sidewalk in alleys) a chain would only be usable *maybe* 50% of the time. I satisfy myself with full theft coverage and remaining detached from my motos :laughing
