Cars that make your jaw drop.

It could go either way, but at first glance it looks better than the mobile home park chop.

no, the wood block does

+1 :laughing

it's for sure an automatic either way, and if it's a v8, it's the 305

Omg, some random memory was rolling around in my brain that at one point the Camaro have came with a four-cylinder.

Google helped me bring the cringe on by reminding me of the early '80s (Early third gen Camaro) iron Duke 4 cylinder engine in the Camaros.

90hp 0-60 in 20s :rofl

That would be the ultimate FU driveline in that thing.

I love the picking up on the minutiae but not mentioning the Big Glass Hatchback....😁

Ha, ha... good call! Hadn't got above the belt line.
It was getting late and the meds were starting to kick in and right hand no worky.

I don't think that's offered for any practical reasons. It's there just to wow your passenger(s) or anyone that peeks into your expensive ass car.

You don't want to be the only supercar at cars and coffee to have the same boring interior now do you?

If I wanted my passenger to be wowed by the dashboard instead of the performance, I'd go for a Rolls instead of a Lambo.

A friend of mine has been featuring classsic and cool cars at shows and museums all over. Ken is a huge motorsports fan, artist and fan. We chat once in a while as he rents a spot in my office from me.

He did renderings for us for years all by hand.

Lots of flavors on his YouTube channel. I am amazed at how many old cars he can identify.

If you love cars and want to burn a few minutes looking at them he presents them pretty well in his low key way.

From the bike list in your profile, I'm guessing this is yours? Love to see some more photos.

So cool. Thanks again for sharing.

Fantastic! Thanks.

I think this car fits into this thread.

The 1955 Chevy that was seen in the original Top Gun movie. This car brought me and my pregnant Practice WifeTM to the hospital to give birth to my son. A few years ago the car was completely rebuilt / restored. The small block was replaced with a 427.

Sadly these images were taken at a car show thrown as a memorial to the owner of the car, my friend Brian. Brian unexpectedly passed away last month.

Brian was the best supervisor I ever had. I began working for him in 1984 when I was 20. Every supervisor I have had since then, has been compared to him. So weird that a Sailor made me a better Marine while we worked on (traditionally) USAF aircraft together. Brain served our country for 33 years. Started out as an airman (E-1) and retired as a Lt Cmdr (O-5).

Rest in Peace my friend. I'll remember you forever.

Sorry to hear about your friend Tim. Had no idea that car was in the movie. Seen the movie dozens of times, and the only car I remember was the Speedster that Kelly McGillis drove.

Of course with a bunch of greased up men playing sports ball, I guess maybe that’s why I never saw it in the background.

Thanks Rob. The car was being restored during filming of TG Maverick and as a result, wasn't included. The family says that Tom has requested pics for consideration to include it in TG3.

My condolences. Very nice tribute to your friend.

Wow they were going to put it in Maverick? Was it supposed to have been like Iceman or Goose’s car in the first movie? Could be the only tie I can think of to the second movie.

I think this car fits into this thread.

Is it worth too much to actually drive?

It is gorgeous. :thumbup

Truly sorry to hear about your friend.
Yes the car fits in 100%

It's priceless to us for sure, I bought the car to enjoy. Show it off when we can. Been asked if it was for sale a few times.
Make people roll up their windows and plug their ears when we pull next to them at a red light.

This is what it looks like with the new Avons
