Tiramisu... cake, pie, mousse or simple delicious? I never really appreciated this dessert until I had one in Milano as it was recommended by a co-worker at lunch. There was no comparison to what goes by the same name in most US restaurants. Hence when I saw this recipe, from an Italian living in the US, based on how his mother made it. I thought why not give it a try. It did turn out better than most I have had, not sure as good as the one in memory, as we did not re-create the ambiance of Milano. It was however good IMO.
So what is Tiramisu, not sure, it was however what was for dessert.
