Clash of Clans

Only 19 lvl8 walls left to upgrade. I should have them squared away by the end of the weekend. After that, just 3 seeking air mines. Then it's just a matter of upgrading to lvl10 walls while I wait for the junk in the lab to upgrade. It's much easier to focus on walls now that I have almost nothing left to spend elixer on.

At this rate, I'll be upgrading to lvl10 sometime next summer.

My lab is upgrading Valcs right now. No real plan on the lab upgrades right now. I've already maxed out the stuff that I use. Right now, I just upgrade whatever depending on how much loot I have available when the lab frees up.

i would max both heros before moving up to TH10.

walls are expensive, but imo heros are the toughest grind in the game. also, to 3 star high TH10 bases youre gonna need high lvl heros.
heres my base, close to maxing out again, need to upgrade EQ and haste spells. i'll try to upload a few 3 star attacks if i can figure a way to record iphone screen.

Yeah, for sure. I'm waiting until I completely max everything out before moving up. I was a bit shocked when I found out that heroes go up to lvl30 at TH9. I totally thought they only went to lvl20. I have a lot longer to go with the heroes. It just sucks balls because I use them in raids all the time, so I can only upgrade one at a time.

I didn't and I in no way regret it. I was sick of just upgrading walls and heros, slowly, and then I did the math. Two maxxed infernos cost as much as upgrading 13 walls from 9 to 10. Screw that. Two maxxed infernos do a lot more to deter attacks than walls.

I upgraded to TH10 with about an equal mix of 8/9 walls and all defenses maxxed, troops near maxxed and Heros were at lvl 10 each. I have had no problem looting and now have maxxed infernos and wiz towers, archer camps and cc. Three xbows at lvl 3 and am currently working on my archer towers. Heros are BK15 AQ16.

I have no trouble gathering and then holding onto near max levels of loot (basically everything I upgrade now is +6.5 million. Had I just sat at TH9, I would still be upgrading walls and heros, while slowly enduring the chinese water torture.

I'm curious as to why you upgraded your healer so early. Is she part of your looting force?

Especially before your heal spell

There is no torture for me because I leave my TH outside the walls. (Yes, I'm one of those dicks that sets up a tesla trap.) But, it's usually a dirt cheap shield. I only get really attacked maybe one out of every 40 times. I just shrug it off and move on.

I'd still rather be a strong TH9 than a weak TH10.

I used to do giants + healer raids all the time. That's why I maxed the healer a long time ago. Since then, I almost never use that combo anymore because BARCH has been plenty profitable for me. Plus, I don't like waiting for the giants and healers to get made.

I leave my TH outside, unprotected. Right now, if you were to raid me, you would have 400k elixer, 400k gold and 3k oil avaialable. People just take the TH snipe.

I wouldn't call my TH10 weak. All defenses were maxxed before I clicked the button. When my defenses were maxxed as a TH9, just working on walls, I would get raided about 20% of the time and owned by TH10s while my TH was exposed. Now, peopel go for it only 5% of the time and the last few attempts didn't make it to my oil storage.

What makes a TH10? Troops, Infernos and max defenses. I set t up so I had 8m gold in storage, CC loot makked (about 1.5m more gold) and collectors full. Elixer maxxed, too. As soon as my TH was done, I had two ITs building and my first max troop being researched. I didn't spend much time as aTH10 in a TH9 body. I gather all loot much faster now than when I was TH9, so I beleive I have accelerated my upgrading over the grind schedule.

Had I grinded along and maxxed all my walls, people would have continued to air raid me. Walls don't work as well when people just go over them. If you want to max everything, more power to you. I'm just offering up an alternative view to the "max every single little thing" standpoint.

We had some drama today. We had a giant exodus from our clan. We lost about 7 or 8 people including a few Co's. They left and joined another farm war clan that was part of the farm war association. So, we are now down to 41 people.

Gotta love the drama.
 
hahaha.. ebbs and flows.

You promote one person and not the other and bam exodus. You have one player doing his best to help the clan and others that do what's best for them, bam exodus.

Keep playing that's the key
 
Yup. It's not the first exodus for us, and it won't be the last. It never hurts to get new blood into the clan.
 
We get new blood every war and purge at the end. The purge is the best part where we decide to kick to keep. Lots of shit talking, lots of butt hurt, and it rallies the clan together. Everyone enjoys it! We just hit clan perk 7 and have 148 wins :)
