RABBLE, RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!
I got to drop off this thread because it is a like a broken record.
But I'm riding today and I am going to have a great time.
Keep in mind that I can take a whole lane and there is nothing stopping hundreds of riders from being on the streets at the same time.
Don't like it when bikes are running red lights? Imagine the 1000 riders strung along 10 miles of roads.
Just stop crying everyone. Y'all just a bunch of whiners who ultimately love caging too much to be real cyclists.

I don't ride with CM but the fact is that the tiny little bit of accomodation that state and local transportation departments make for bicycles is 100% due to those who are willing to push the issue.
The lard-assed suburbanite Opies of America still have 99+% of the roads, 99+% of the time.
over simplify, stereotype and generalize much?
So much froth over a few minutes delay once a month.
Ah well, bike riders can continue on their way, secure in the knowledge that globalization, outsourcing, increased joblessness and declining US living standards will be steadily increasing the numbers of the auto-less in the years to come.

My 3 mile commute takes 30% longer via motorcycle than bike, and costs about eight times more.
Edit: Is it really hard for people to park and ride on the last friday of the month? It always feels like a huge hassle to get around the city in a car--especially the BB--compared to BART.

That's what you get for driving.
BTW, say thanks for the other 30 days of the month bikers are not in their cars, making the traffic problem worse.

lol
a warning on a motorcycle forum about how bicycles will impede your "driving" today.

You must be one of the many commuting from the Sacramento area to SF because they can't afford the cost of living in the bay. Good idea: punish them.
