Good stuff man! I'll admit I had some spark lust just for that size alone. Looks so sweet! DJI kept emailing me about the pre-order and hand delivery. Was so tempting.

I'm going to sell the P3. I just can't justify it! I still have all my toy quads to get rid of too!

2. I flew it elsewhere on the trip. :thumbup

3. Frankly, I may go buy a smaller one without all the electronic wizardry for situations like that. :laughing

I only download apps I absolutely have to...actually, I don't have to fly the drone I guess. :dunno
If I could fly and take pics without an app I would, in a heartbeat.

It's on an old phone I no longer use, and it's the only thing on there. Stays turned off until I fly, and gets turned off when I'm done and goes back in the box.
I'll grab a tablet to use one of these days.


I know I'm being tracked and watched everywhere already but I hate the idea of random applications demanding access to everything on my phone.

Got it. Some kid picked up my P3 last night. He was very excited to fly his first quad. I even gave him one of my old training X5Cs to practice with.

I'm a little sad that my Mavic won't be here until next week. I have a little R and R in Portland this weekend, and really wanted to take the Mavic with me..

Maybe I can go find a Spark locally and take that..

BTW DUU could possibly hold a Maintenance and Repair Course here in the SJ/SF area soon. There is one in Sacto this weekend.

After chatting with them about getting my Mavic fly more combo delivered today...

I went a head and ordered it, and it looks like they don't have personal deliveries til next week. lol.

Not offered in Portland. Only in select markets.

Looks like they made an exception for me, and my Mavic fly more combo will be delivered to my office in 2 hours.

Nope, i'm not like that at all. I kill them with kindness. But in reality, they probably looked up my work address, and previous DJI purchases. Who knows.

The delivery stipulates that all batteries are fully charged, and all FW updated ready to fly. :)

I better go cancel my amazon order and pending BB same day pickup order. I think I went a little crazy, 3K in mavic pros. lol
