Sorry to disagree. Bold fonts or extra periods added in a sentence do not make a statement more true. I agree that rape is never funny. A joke is funny. Same can be said about hyperbole of a guy getting "ass-raped". People are too sensitive. :afm199

I strongly believe that nobody on this thread advocates the use of chloroform, and also that nobody reading this thread is now more likely to use chloroform. Flame me if you like. :twofinger

Bold type is mean to make you pay attention and it did.

"People are too sensitive" is often said by people who have been too insensitive, or were taken off guard by doing something that upset people, and are redirecting blame. Just like the guy who flips you off when he cuts you off in traffic as a reaction to your "dude, you almost hit me" face.

This train went off the tracks with the chloroform joke. I get that and I don’t think anyone is saying rape is funny. But this debate is no longer constructive. Threads that derail and go way off topic is one of the things I dislike about internet forums. IMO the OP was trying to poke some fun and instead hit a nerve. If you feel differently, you're entitled to your opinion. Now drop your pitchfork and move along.

If internet forms only ever stayed on on topic, they wouldn't be very long now would they? And anyway, how boring is a conversation where one person picks the subject and prevents anyone changing it? Also I don't see "though shalt not derail threads" as a TOS item... and lastly, no gun to your head to force you to read the thread, is there?

One of the stated goals of a mod here is to make this place more welcoming to women. And ironically enough, this very thread is about attracting women. So when women come on here and give you guys some tips about how NOT to make women feel alienated here or in the moto world in general, it's very much ON topic. If you don't like what they have to say, then you can expect fewer women here.... and on the back of your Harleys and sprotbiles.

Dear Mods:

Could we please change thead title to : Do Harleys attract more positive attention of potential sexual partners?

I dunno. Kinda clunky. But less offensive.
