If the date is going well and you are just talking, asking about kids on the first date isn't a deal breaker... unless she already has 10 of them. It's all in how you word it though.

Dating is about getting to know someone. The relationship and the sex just follows.

Once I removed my "standards" and just dated to get to know people... everything else followed suit. I married WAY ABOVE my "class" :thumbup

and if dropping $50 is too much on a date, she made the right call

She's either a sad person who either has no concept of what to value in a mate(height), or was turned off by the lack of confidence inherent in your offering the information of your height. Neither of those things deserves disrespect. Pity her, or use it as a wake up call to yourself that you are lacking in confidence and you are attaching too much value to your looks and not in what actually matters. It is unwise to invest heavily in something you have absolutely no control of, this is especially true of your confidence.

I dont even trip over first dates anymore. My plan was to bring my dogs, grab coffee, chat and then bounce and take them to Fort Funston for the day. Just find it amusing. What if I didnt text to check in? Would have been a quick how do you do. Her job is fascinating but when I asked what she did for a creative outlet or aside form work as in hobbies...."I like wine and finding new places to eat".

Tomorrow's 2nd date crossfits, marathon runs, wrote a video game and getting into tech industry. 1st date ended up (my idea) checking out the stars on a golf course over looking San Ramon. :thumbup

I am as well but I really like tall girls. After the first one it was just about all over. Recently dated a 6'1" girl and it was awesome. Actually fit together and was way mroe comfortable.
