You know what, holy crap, I totally believe it, but also can't believe it. How can someone be so superficial that they cancel BEFORE THE FIRST DATE because you're ONLY 3" taller than them?

Is their time so valuable, so important, that the MUST MUST ensure that the height standard is well met before they'll even meet you??

I mean, unless I was told straight up that the girl is a troll or something, I'd probably find 60 minutes to spare for a initial meeting.

This has happened to me with my grandmother. In their mind they've literally found your future wife. In your mind they are crazy.

"Hey, I met this nice lady at the retirement home who says her granddaughter is perfect for you. Here is the granddaughter's number, please call her"

What does she look like? "I don't know"
How old is she? "I don't know"
What's she into "I don't know"
Is she in school or working? "I don't know"
..... "She's Jewish! Marry her!"

One final question: Does she live in San Francisco? "Oh no, she lives in Montreal...CALL HER"
