Golden State Warriors 2017-2018

damn that turned into a shitshow at the end.

Sure did. No need for it. Elbow looked bad at first, then not so bad in slo-mo. CC were right there.

That overturned call on KD v. LeBron was the game. At first it looked like a charge but on replay and other angles you can see he's still dragging his right foot into position. Blocking.

JR Smith was lucky Klay came back or he would need heavy security leaving Oracle.

Tristan Kardashian is a punk ass bitch. The elbow didn't look bad but what he did after deserves a suspension. Note that he directed it at Draymond, who had technical #4 earlier in the game.

JaVale looked good except for that Shaqtin a Fool highlight. That intense D on LeBron was great.

TT should absolutely be suspended for the ball/hand to the face of Draymond.

And Draymond should be thrown out for intentionally digging his hand into another player's face to foul. He is the cheapest most immature piece of shit of a human I've ever seen play basketball. Draymond reportly calls him a "F***ing pu**y" for complaining about it, and we get to see video of Lebron's eye bleeding more and more for the rest of the game. Fuck Draymond.

Thompson's move was stupid, but Draymond shouldn't be allowed to sit there making gestures and taunting the entire time, either. That shit shouldn't be allowed on the court, and the officials shouldn't tolerate it.

JR Smith is an absolute god damned moron, too. What the fuck was he thinking? All you do is go back up and get that basket.. or at least ATTEMPT it. But apparently he thought the Cavs were up? How the fuck do you not know that?

Stupid game. Lebron plays out of his mind, giving the Cavs 51... and Smith blows it at the end. You've got to make that free throw, sure.. but you CAN'T make a basketball error like that. You don't get many chances to steal game 1 from GSW at home.

So dumb. I'm done with today.

that was about as intentional as JR taking out Klay's knee :rolleyes

They’re not going to have to plow the roads in Cleveland next winter after this one. :p

Lebron was moving.... :x :laughing

And Lue needs to learn the actual rules.

You need to review the rules. You cannot overturn that... and yet they did. And that was HUGE.

The official rule from the NBA, via Royce Young of ESPN, states that "Since the 2012-2013 season, referees have reviewed all block/charge calls when they are not reasonably certain as to whether the defender was inside or outside of the restricted area ... Restricted area replays are conducted only during the last two minutes of the fourth period and during all of overtime. When conducting the review, referees attempt to confirm or overturn their original call."

Was he in the restricted area? No.

They overturned a judgement call, and that just isn't done.

DOUBT triggers review, it's been that way for 2 years.

... and... stop watching the slo-mo replay. In real time LBJ is moving, leaning to his left. and that's included in the review.

Lue, and you, are wrong.

Can we just lock JR in the hotel room for the next game? He hurt BOTH teams with his stupidity!

I'll take the win but I didn't like it. Just gonna set up bad feelings for years .:thumbdown

But remember, except for head slap by Draymond, the Dubs didn't ask for the blocking foul change. They played their own rule with the Livingston shot. Klay didn't ask to be knee-capped. Steph got smacked in the head and knocked around pretty good. The Cavs played heroically except for their IQ issue with Smith. In fact, really, it WAS a good game for a while, nice and close, the thing that fans of the game wanted.

It ended up being an ugly-ass thing to behold. But there's no do-overs. I'd rather fine Smith for undercutting Klay than TT. He did the same thing to a Celtic right under the basket during their series. And it looked dirty. But he "slipped." Right.:mad I remember thinking during the Celtics game that, "oh, he's their 'wet work' guy." Kind of a little sneaky sucker.

And no, let's leave Love out of it. I know, it was technically wrong but shit, look what else was going on. He didn't rush over and start swingin.
