My only perception of him is based on how he presents himself on BARF. Whether or not that is how he "really" is is irrelevant to me. I'll never meet him, therefore this is the only medium through which we will ever interact, and thus that's the only perception that matters.

The fact that multiple people have now jumped to his defense with "you don't really know him!" just proves the point that he has an internet persona rather than just being himself. It doesn't matter if it's something he's intentionally done or not, fact is that he has one.

And really, I'm a bit of an expert on that subject, I know full well what people think of me online. Difference is that I couldn't give less of a flying fuck. :teeth

What was the point of this thread then? I was contributing to the discussion on internet personas and simply used the most convenient example as a case in point. I'm not a party to the repeated attempts to start a little tangent flame war other than by pointing out he's displaying the exact behavior I was referring to. :dunno

Don't play dumb with me--I'm an expert in dumb. You've had you've had 14-to-the-power-of-e attempts to get your point across. It stopped being constructive about a gazillion posts ago and is quickly turning into something resembling a Pride Week slap fight with you two in short-shorts and suspenders...not that there's anything wrong with that. Please note that I requested that he reconsider publicly addressing you as well.

Let's not fan the flames... Everyone's perfectly welcome here, moto or no. There are some very cool peeps here that can no longer ride, choose not to ride, etc. You just gotta have the love. Wheels aren't required. :)

I heard he replaced his sweet little versys with a big junky Harly because he wasn't having fun riding unless he was using he was using his big arms to bully the bike into corners.
