Hiding Behind the Computer

Takes a WIDE STANCE!

:laughing

I can, have and do. The difference is I tend to only get snippy around politics and religion and when I'm out hanging around people, those topics tend to almost never to come up. :laughing On the rare occasion they do (religion in particular) it's usually a horror story.

I've seen your posts in religious threads... I'd flat pay money to see you do that in person!! UFC?? Please! :hand Eldritch is going toe to toe with the corner proselytizer!! No steel cage! No judges! No Mercy!!!

Good! Can't wait to see you.

If we're putting anyone in short shorts, I nominate YOU, Mister Uber-fit guy!! ;)

:( Lookin' like it may be time to move on. Doesn't seem to be much room in here. :dunno

Is there an original source-point thread where all this panty bunching occurred? Or is this a general sentiment on the OP's part? I need to know because of science.

Do people use the internet to hide behind their computers? Are people that are usually mild mannered or sheepish act up online? I've gotten my butt kicked on many occasions here on barf, that never happens to me in real life. Do you think people will act braver and more disrespectful because they are on an online forum and can hide behind their computer. I'm wondering if people do this just because they can. I'm positive most of these folks would never dream of speaking that way to someone in person.:dunno

The thing I like about barf is that it is a local group so you can always meet the folks in person. Generally, I've found that people personalities are in real life what they are in cyberspace here on barf.
