unplug the IAT sensor

remove the forward most airbox mounting bolt

unplug the cap/coil wiring harness connections

i like using a f4 plug wrench, but the OEM tool kit contains the proper tool

we changed the plugs to CR9EIX, same resistor and heat range, but its iridium fine wire, instead of copper/board wire. if you've got a late model r1/r6/fzr/yzf/gsxr750/600 this is the plug you want...trust me:thumbup

use a little anti-seize and torque the new plug to 13 N/m

i used a little diaeletric grease on the spark plug cap/coil connections

unplug the vacuum ports and connect the gauges
