iPhone Jailbreak....

I just got into the jailbreaking game and I used Cydia to jailbreak it, then also wanted to unlock the baseband. I didn't know that if I had used Redsnow that would have also given me Cydia and unlocked the baseband at the same time, so used Redsnow to unlock baseband. I never cared for jailbreaking before, but I wanted a decent phone to use in Thailand, to store numbers and contacts and SMS with ease instead of using some cheap Nokia that can't text well. Jailbroke a Iphone 2G. Gonna work on my 3GS next.
 
What iOS are you guys using? w/ what Baseband?

I'm still using 4.0.1 (8A306) w/ 01.59.00 on the Optus network ; and I'm nervous about upgrading anything at all (firmware, carrier settings, etc).
 
I'm on 4.1 w/ 02.10.04.

Haven't checked, but... is there a JB for 4.2.1 yet, that isn't a tethered JB?

I just jailbroke and unlocked my old 3G iPhones. Kind of nice to be able to switch off phones now.

I'm only running 3.1.3 since I hear iOS4 is slow on the two year old hardware.
