I think he's saying the population of the US is mostly religious and consevative, which to some extent may or may not be true, but they certainly are much more vocal.

They haven't, they don't give shit.

I don't give a shit if I see a boob/nipple combo on TV, and I've never called a TV station to tell them I don't give a shit that they showed boob/nipple on TV and that I don't think family values were harmed by said boob/nipple showing. But there are lots that do feel harmed by it, and they do feel that family values are harmed by it, and they will call and complain, and they are taken very seriously because they take the time to do that, even if they are a minority.

The squeaky wheels always get the grease, so to speak...

The only safe place to go nekkid is probably a nudist camp or yer own island. Too many people in the world. I think the outrage and the lawsuit a preemptive strike to stop the release of the XXX photos.
