Kawi H1f rebuild thread

^^:thumbup

my buddy in HS (1979) had a used H2 he had one of our classmates paint a nice green in the garage—wish I could remember what my friend paid for it back then. :laughing:angel

Well... a new bike has lit my fire and I am going to sell this bike.
Wondering what you guys think on a price for BaT listing.

I have a bit over 12k into it and of course hope to recapture as much as possible.
Well I guess it is more of a what should the reserve be??

What say ye wise Vintage folks?

set the reserve at what you need out of the auction; ie, the lowest number you would accept. If some vintage yahoos are drooling over it the price will go to where it will. You just gotta come across the right yahoos.

KTM Duke 990R. It is not out yet but the 990 has my chop stix lit and waiting until 2025 for the next level version is always fun, as I did with my Multi PP. Anticipation is a cool drug.

BaT generally won't allow a reserve on motorcycles, but you could get lucky. $12K is all the $$ for a late 500, though, like @Butch says, if the right yahoo is out there...

As we say on BaT, GLWTA.

Looks great on paper but I would wait to see if KTM has their soft camshafts/followers totally fixed before getting a new LC8c engine.....
Still happening on 23 and 24 dukes and advs.
