(if anyone is a whiz or has time to advise me on how to get the video off the mini dv tape and onto a puter running win2000 on a pentium II 400mHz machine i am all ears :toothless)

400MHz is gonna be brutal with DV editing. And how much RAM do you have? Anything less than 512 is going to be redrum.

Do you have any friends with Macs? Hooking up a DV camera and editing with iMovie (included with newer macs) is an absolute breeze.

i figured so. i've only got 256K RAM. i really need a new machine, but i'd have to finance it and i already have 4 loans open right now :cry

we have an ancient G3 at work that is useless, but i can ask around if anyone i know has a newer mac. thanks for the advice :thumbup

I've had two of these bastids jump on me. I've since placed an acrlyic cover over the top of the tank.

They're great at sifting sand though. Like a little Bobcat.

my second favorite- jawfish. they are in the goby family and are like the pitbulls of the coral reefs........they live in little tunnels that they dig themselves and attack anything that comes within a 6 inch radius of their hole!

you can buy them at local fish stores- some day i wanna set up a tank and have a little colony of them!

I went to it and like it too much.

I went last year but I was comparing it with San Diego Sea World (not even close).
I liked it so much that I decided to start a reef my self :teeth

This tank is at my office :
