Thanks Alex,
I have been waiting to see current pics of the shark.
Thanks for sharing.
By the way, those jellies are way cool to watch as well.

The Jelly fish display there has always been my favorite. It's the colors. That blue and orange. Of course, diving into a bunch of them unseen isn't quite as fun.:cry I lived... Australia. Watch where you dive!:wow

That place is cool. Reminds of snorkling in Hawaii.. Ive never been there, maybe I should take a ride there w/some friends

all these posts and no one noticed that its not a damsel?:teeth
Its actually a square spot anthias, its a deep water fish that you wont usually see on a reef except in a few aeas in the world. very hard to keep in captivity due to it being a deep water fish.
nice pics though i would love to know the secret to keeping the baby great white alive in captivity, theres a reason no one else has been able to do it and monterey must have figured it out. and for any one that needs help with a tank shoot me a pm Im that guy:teeth

I went Monday, and while chatting with a volunteer in the shark exhibit, I learned what the consensus is. It may be that because MBA received the shark pup at such a young age, the shark didn't know life much and what to expect. They had her in a large holding tank off the Monterey Bay for quite a few months, put her in a smaller pen, and then graduated her to the outer bay exhibit.

Though you might laugh... check out this lucky shot of myself, with the great white shark pup behind me (no flash allowed). I won't bastardize gsxrbabe's thread, but if you want to see more photos, I've posted them here
