well i hope some of those people from that moped group are able to read this. I am sure not all of them are jerks or so inconsiderate, but definitely sometimes it is the few that makes a bad name for the rest of them. sometimes they just odn't know better even in their early 20's. a lot of times theri selection of a moped for the convenience, style (!?), and what have you may show how little they really care but that it has two wheels, and saves them gas, inexpensive and gets them around town with ease... their view could just be different...where as we maintain and take care of our bikes ...these people seem to find them as a modes of transportation from a to b with two wheels.

Now, I'm not condoning their actions, but just pointing out that instead of a possible whipping sometimes just informing will kill the ignorance a lot faster. But who knows...i've often learned more quickly when pain was involved hehe.

OK , I agree. Those look a little too clean, well rounded and artsy. Basically, bike messengers will look a little less childish, that's all.

Don't get me wrong, I was just wondering if "the creatures of the mopedloin" will upset a bike messenger here and there.

As for the age, it's hilarious, but the picture with the tatoos shows kids that don't even look 21 in my eyes!!! But younger!!! So that is funny, IMO.

OK so these kids are just overstepping their bounds a bit...thinking they are cool a small gang of moped riders who figure nobody is going to do anything about it and they are protected in groups.....and much like us because they are a part of something a COUNTER CULTURE so to speak they think they are cool and can act accordingly...

have you ever seen real bike messengers haning out on the brick steps by Montgomery and Market or they used to hang by where the SHarper Image was....they are KINDA hard you know? some looked pretty tough and I'm sure they have stamina ridin' them bikes everywhere....
I saw a group of them one day when I was going to INsurance school in the city and I gave them a nod because they were blazin' it up...and I was like 'smells good' and they Looked back at me HARD like and I forgot...oh I'm all dressed up in my nice nice clothes...one of em was like 'whatever suit' and i threw back a CRIP sign and said "Grape Street Watts Nigga!" and gave em my THIZ FACE and they were moderately surprised.....but yeah i could take any of em...

Now these Moped kids...I'll be absolutely pleasant and nice with them when I explain who runs shit around Benders but if they get outta hand one of them will be made an example of......something not too bad like a Head Flushed in the Toilet or a forced to drink a bottle of my PIss or something....nothing too bad....

1-wife calls me to go run and look at my bike, they placed a dog on my seat and the dog is standing and running around on my seat and tank..

well the owner of the dog was cool and imediatly took dog off my bike and apologized, said his sorries and was nice. but the creatures of the loin should not have placed the dog on my bike < guy was not with them just talking to some of the girls> they did not appologize, but rather kept telling me " it's cool man, don't trip"

2 one of the fucktards runs over my foot while he is riding on the sidewalk. :wtf :yell . if it was not for my promise to be cool with them to my friends that would have resulted in a clothesline to the dome to the idiot on the moped.


3. another fucktard, he tries to show up in style and slide out his rear. in the process he almost dumps my bike by hitting the front tire with his rear tire..


4 same fucktard as last. he lays his bike on my freaking handle bars and uses them as a prop rod to keep up his crappy $50 moped. yelling ensued.


next time i will not be nice at all.




p.s. at 6'4" and 240 lbs i did intimidate them. those skinny lil bastards will feel my wrath next time they mess with my bike, not even god could punish them like i could.

Hah I remember reading in the previous thread about them and checking out their website for shits. I can definitely see getting pissed off quickly from them by what you've posted here, I hate people that disrespect others for no reason.
