I'm just gonna leave this here for anybody that's bored and needs some off-season entertainment

to whoever it is... :facepalm

the petition implies that the AL frame, or more generally a lack of differentiation from the Japanese factories, is the cause of Ducati's lack of competitiveness...mindless conjecture once again. Prez clearly outlined valid reasons for moving away from the trellis to the CF and from the CF to AL, going back isnt going to magically make those reasons AGAINST old designs any less valid.

damn i cant believe i just took the time to type that. sadly, i couldnt resist.

arguing on the internet fulfills a small craving at the moment, but usually right afterward makes you feel like taking a shower.

right after typing that I thought of how many other things are also like that.

payback for Ducati not voting against Carmelo's proposed weight increase, which greatly contributed to Dani not winning the title.

Oops, editor didnt have his/her coffee that day.

"Given the clear success of the Honda RC213V, there can no longer be any doubt that using a 90°V is an impediment to building a competitive MotoGP machine."

Is NOT an impediment. not an impediment. grumble grumble

:laughing David is both writer and editor. I'm sure he needed either sleep or coffee.

:laughing:rofl
Honda admits the RC213V engine is at 90deg!!!

Naturally the 90º is still "ideal" for a V4 in MotoGp and Honda's new RVF1000...

Quote David Emmett
"So I was wrong, 18 months ago, to lay the blame at the door of the engine
angle selected by Ducati. I should have known better, given Honda's long
history of racing success with V4s, in World Superbikes and Endurance racing
with the RC30 and RC45. Their 90°V engine will be the basis of their
production racer (which writer Mark Gardiner has proposed be named the
Honda RVF), as well as the design template for the World Superbike
homologation special due to be launched in time for the 2014 WSBK season."
