Yamaha out for tmrw.

who woulda guessed that a track that forces a lot of hard acceleration from slow corners would be great for the RCV.... Yamaha should stop testing at Sepang and just come here until they fix that "issue" w/ the M1

MM already thinking about mindgames. its too early kid, for that shit
“When we are on the track and ride with the other riders, like Stefan, Valentino, Lorenzo and Dani, you need to pay attention. You can’t show what is your line, what it the best line, because then they can learn something. But also when I try to follow them they close…so I do the same thing.”

It's never too early to prevent a competitor from stealing your good lines. That's a basic racing tactic they learn early on.

I love it when the GP circus goes to a new track. No data from previous races to use as a crutch. Just go ride and see who's fast.

Wat up, Marquez.

haha, i was watching a video of yesterday's session and it looked like valentino was getting a tow from MM in every shot :laughing

Circuit of the Americas – Private test – Day 2 results:

1. Marc Márquez – Repsol Honda Team – 54 laps – 2’03.853

2. Dani Pedrosa – Repsol Honda Team – 58 laps – 2’03.976

3. Jorge Lorenzo – Yamaha Factory Racing – 65 laps – 2’04.351

4. Stefan Bradl – LCR Honda MotoGP – 49 laps – 2’04.640

5. Valentino Rossi – Yamaha Factory Racing – 67 laps – 2’04.960

6. Blake Young – Attack Performance – 47 laps – 2’13.641 - (CRT class)

7. Michael Barnes – GPTech – 22 laps – 2’13.993 – (CRT class)

Lorenzo: "We did a small simulation during which I was able to keep a constant pace. We’re not completely satisfied because we’re still quite far off the Hondas on this track, but closer than we were yesterday.

Rossi: "I’m having some problems stopping the bike, so I’m not very good on the braking at the moment. If I brake where I want to brake, I arrive at the corner a bit too fast – especially at the hairpin. Also, we have a bit too much of a wheelie issue on acceleration from the hairpin, so that is the most important point on which we need to work."

1. Marc Márquez – Repsol Honda Team – 60 laps – 2’03.281

2. Dani Pedrosa – Repsol Honda Team – 24 laps – 2’03.898

3. Stefan Bradl – LCR Honda MotoGP – 43 laps – 2’04.225

4. Blake Young – Attack Performance – 42 laps – 2’12.186 (CRT class)

The Marquez h8ters don't seem to be saying much lately. And don't use the excuse that this thread disappeared into a hidden forum that few people will see because most everybody ignores stickies at the top. :laughing

When he is done beating Rossi, like a Hummer running over a drunk skunk, then I will say something. Too soon? :laughing

I've become a MM fan, I needed someone to take up my #2 spot after Marco...

That said, I'll reserve judgment on how well he does during a race... it's one thing to blitz the field over a single lap, but to do that over a race distance is another. JLo, Pedro and Rossi know the craft, MM is still fresh to the GP bikes....

MM will be a threat during quali though that's for sure...

yea, as far as spaniards go, MM is my #1. i hate the dead eyed pedo midget and lorentho just doesnt have that intangible. when rossi exits the sport, ill be supporting marquez until an american can do some damage (which isnt likely in the foreseeable future).

ughhhh i wish it were april 7th alreadyyyyy

That just reminds me of Stoner :thumbup

Yeah its weird how people aren't complaining about Marquez knocking other riders down. They must hate this. Eat your heart out suckers!

gpone.com got a good quote from Rossi about the last two years when he was giving feedback to the Ducati engineers:

"When you speak with the Yamaha and Honda, but especially with the Yamaha and say that something is not working on the bike for the Japanese engineer is not a bad thing. It is good because this way they can understand how to improve the bike, but with Ducati this doesn't happen. So when you say that you have a problem the first thing you do is Ducati does not believe you at 100% and then get upset because they're saying that their moto has a problem."
