I predict Rossi looking down on Jorge and Dani on the podium this year.

Specifically the finishing order will be Dani 1st, Jorge 2nd and Val 3rd. But he is tall enough that he will be looking down on them.

Marquez and Rossi. Marquez cuz he's going to get his pee pee slapped for riding recklessly, and Rossi cuz he's going to podium just to remind Jorge who's daddy.

I have a feeling those two will do just fine.

But I was thinking more from the satellite riders ie: Bradl, Crutchlow or even a CRT.

A satellite battle would be a good sub-plot for the season; Bautista and Bradl are on satellite Hondas that are effectively far more superior than Crutchlow's satellite Yamaha, as far as how far back they are from their factory counterparts.

Wouldn't the surprise be if he doesn't do that? He sucked because he was on the Duc; everyone expects that he will be Rossi again on the Yamaha.

Not sure, between all the "He's too old, He's lost how to ride because of the Duc, He needs the best bike on the grid, Jorge & Dani are much better now". I'm not so sure Rossi is on the list of winning the ship.

I really don't see Dani winning as many races as he did last year mainly because Rossi is back.

With Rossi back in the game it really hits home how much of a void Stoner's exit makes at the top end of the list. I'm hoping for Marquez to be in the hunt but I predict a crashy season for him.

Oh, I don't think he'll win the 'ship. But if he isn't Rossi again, then all that talk will seem more truth rather than just speculation, making it the surprise. I think most expect that now that he's off the Duc and back on the Yamaha, he'll pick up right where he left off. And if he doesn't, then maybe there's something to that "he's too old" talk.

Man, really had high hopes for him after his Assen win a couple years back. But then last season just SUCKED so bad. Now he's on a Duc, which pretty much means he has no shot at anything besides mid-pack and mediocrity. It's quite a shame. Things looked very promising for him such a short time ago.

I'm pretty sure kev or sincere will be all over it on mon.

And +1 on spies. Such a sad waste of talent. At least he got a win(to the Colin comment)!!!

Really when you look at it he has more promise than most the field. He still lead races last year, even at Indy he said he could win but his motor let go. Nobody other than the "aliens" go to the front.

Does Spies have a rider coach? Maybe he should hire Kevin to be there helping him prepare mentally for the races.

I dont even charge that much ben, should I send over my resume?

regarding the race threads, I suppose I can put something up next week. truth be told, my passion for barf has taken a pretty huge hit and it really hasnt been for me lately(noty do to the race threads or its participants btw), I;m not sure how much activity I'll have in the threads, but I can put something up,. usual;ly on tyues or wed

This is true. He is the best non alien out there. If he could get his mojo back and get on a bike set up the way he likes he might be able to hang with them at some tracks. From his last interview he is out of shape, his shoulder still hurts and he has little time on the new bike. He has no real set up at all not now.
