hell. im takling bets RIGHT NOW, that spies loses to PIRRO at mugello.

I'm not taking that bet. I'd say it's a coin flip right now, and maybe ever a slight edge to Pirro. Ben isn't right yet, between his injuries and his head. He might be by the time Mugello rolls around. We shall see.

Ben needs time to work on the bike set up, get in shape and heal his shoulder. He has the skills to beat all the other Duc riders if he can get his head back in it. Again, I think he needs a life coach/ manager that is a former racer to be with him all the time. Like what Dani has with Puig.

It would be interesting if Ben put on a good 10lbs how he would do. Guy looks unhealthy skinny at times. Kinda like when fights drop too much weight and do horrible.

thats actually what i was thinking. super skinny guys are more likely to get hurt in a crash than someone with a little more muscle mass. i bet if spies gained 10lbs of muscle, not only would he be a little more stout in a crash, he might find his rhythm again like he had on the sbk.

He probably tried to drop some weight to be able to keep up with the little guys. Keep in mind his nickname was "Elbows" because of his riding style and because he was a rather lanky guy compared to others. So when you can't make yourself shorter like the others, you have to try to make yourself lighter. The result is that you're really too light for your size.

69 fanboi here

I say. "no", Nicky will generally place higher in races where the 3 of them all finish

define generally.

I bet you in the first five races, dovi finishes higher than nicky 3 times or more. iannone will need more time, but I bet by the end of the year hes passing nicky.

it sounds superficial, but I think being italian is going to be a bigger advantage than peole think. simply communicating to the engineers, crews, etc.

they have two italian triders plus an italian test rider...those riders all come from a similar background. that bike is going to be developed more along the lines of their riding style, than nicky or ben

ben wont be on ducati next year either. ive been saying that since he signed. I bet you hes out after this year. i still think ts insane he took a sat ducati deal over a sat yamaha deal

so to recap my ducati bets lol:

Pirro beats ben at mugello
dovi beats nicky in the first five races (3 or more better finishes)

any takers?

How soon you guy's forget. It was only last season when Spies's fat ass broke the subframe in Qatar and broke the shock in Laguna Seca. Don't take the pie jokes so literally tubby fat cakes. Try riding the bicycle instead of just paying for the team's teal shirts. Every time I turn on the tv that fucking guy is cooking a burger or some shit.

I will bite on that part. No medical, or mechanical, Ben will outride Pirro.

Noap. its a straight up bet, no special stipulations. even if one of them gets taken out, it rains, or the subframe transforms into a giant dildio and fucks them in the ass.

its finishing order, thats all. at mugello, Pirro finshes better than ben, whatever the circumstance (assuming both actually majke the grid)

and change back to his wbsk riding style...elbowzzzzzzzzzzz:cool

what I mean to say is that, over the course of the season, in races where all 3 finish, that Nicky's results will exceed Crazy Joe & Dovi

simple additive math, a binary "go-no go" - the way you appear to like it!

Crazy Joe pnwz Nicky, so where was your prediction on Eslick/Buell vs the outcome, I remember saying he wouldn't make the top 5.

actually, our domestic 69 made the AMA Pro podium 2 or 3 times on his EBR 1190 [NOT a Buell], but the spineless barf bettor backed out......

da pussy!!

Ben actually mentioned before that the "elbows" style wasn't the most practical for a GP. Commented on how much more energy he needs to use while riding that way. But again you have to really wonder if his current or past weight in GP is hurting him. Just one of those things you will never find out till he says something about it years from now.

whom?

Doohan?
Biaggi?
KRSR?
Interesting choices. Doohan would be awesome. However, I don't think Spies is nearly as aggressive a rider. Hell, KRJR would work. JR is even bigger than Spies. He could eat pasta and steak with him and tubby out. :thumbup

He does look bad. I don't think it's necessary despite the obvious advantage that Dani has on starts and coming off corners. Too much HP for that to be the only answer to success. Although, KRJR was considered too big.
The result is that you're really too light for your size.
Yep, he looks sick. And not SIC, who while thin, did not emaciate himself in the name of MotoGP. So, to repeat, weight loss is not the answer.
