Per your request:
- 8,775 deaths by fire arms in the US in 2011 (out of the 12,996 murders in 2011)
- 2,623 Americans died on 9/11
- 4,408 US troops died in Iraq (doesn't include Afghanistan and the rest of the War on Terrorism)
- $1,000,000,000,000 (One Trillion Dollars) spent in Iraq chasing weapons of mass destruction and putting Iran in charge (doesn't include Afghanistan and the rest of the War on Terrorism)
So there you have it, James. We spent $1T and got 4,408 dead brothers and sisters because of the 2,623 dead brothers and sisters of 9/11, and yet can't move a paper clip for the 8,000-9,000 brothers and sisters that die in our own soil every year. Sad, isn't it?
I'm not against guns. I'm against the fact that virtually everybody can own guns based on an amendment adopted in 1791 and that 99% of Americans can't recite its 27 words. Newt Gingrich can't.
How have you been, btw? Are you going to have weekday rides this summer?
