Too little, too Christian, too white, too country and not drafted high enough.. He will never get his due unless he somehow manages to exceed Brady, which won’t happen. It will always be about surrounding players and genius coach. We actually have yet to see his full potential.

Anyone who is a fan of Steph Curry knows about resentment and rejection by others when the player doesn’t check the correct boxes. His phenomenal ability is an aberration compared to Kobe, Michael and LeBron. They are “real” NBA guys. Steph is too little, too pale, too privileged and too Christian. Not comparing his ability to Purdy’s, but the phenom of a built-in resentment percentage of fans, pundits, etc etc.

Purdy is stuck with it for his career. I hope he survives to at least get a better paycheck.
 
I never said Lamar was the MVP, I said the Ravens, their defense specifically, PROBABLY ruined Purdy's MVP chances this year, in a nationally televised game.

Iirc, the refs even gave the 9ers 2 points for a 5 point lead when they tripped Lamar in the end zone for a safety. :laughing

I like Purdy, his story is a great one, but that was totally the wrong night to have a bad game and his body of work is too limited to not wonder. Maybe he can be Super Bowl MVP....

The only thing between the world and Swiftie-Mahomie-State Farm fuck fest of a Super Bowl is Lamar Jackson and the Ravens, so yeah, I'm pulling for them! :laughing

(I'm not seeing too many KaAron Rogers commercials these days, so there is hope! :laughing)
 
I got you. I am mainly venting at the narrative that has been hitting the small town stations and the national guests they have been having. Morons with an arguments that falls apart right away, yet they double down because they don't want to back track. This game, unfortunately, is more evidence the Purdy detractors are full of crap.

At halftime, all I gotta say is “ruh-roh!” Since we are Warriors fans, this is feeling all-too-familiar.

You can see how Niner defense is shamed and they are getting more penetration yet still allowing stuff up the middle.

Because he’s short, Purdy has had two passes knocked down and that one tip, leading to interception.

If its possible to “have his number,” it is blocking his passes and their low trajectory.

I don’t expect them to give up. Looking forward to at least a response.
