If you wound up in the friend zone you either just aren't aggressive enough or were too busy white knighting and got yourself placed there.

Well, when I was doing the internet dating thing, I made a point to be nonaggressive, very nonaggressive. It's amazing how many women have had very aggressive men force themselves on them, they told me this, and how refreshing it was that someone wasn't trying to boink them in the first 15 minutes of meeting them. It worked out very well for me. Never had to get obnoxious (bobnoxious is what my friends used to sometimes call me), never had to get pushy, never had to get them drunk, most times it was "Do me, Mr. Nice Guy."

I'm not talking about forcing yourself on anyone, but if you don't assert yourself, as a man, and make it clear what you want, maybe you deserve some time in the penalty box.

Most women don't find 'limp' to be attractive. Make it clear what you want.

I've got a date tonight with an OKC'er who turns out her parents went to high school with mine and he favorite uncle was my baseball coach. So I've been vouched for :teeth

I did have a very odd, slightly embarrassing planned date.

Girl and I traded maybe 2 messages and she quickly asked if we could text. I obliged. She was 28, moved back up here, no school but a nanny, I figured lets see where it goes.

We text for about a week. One night passed midnight she texts me a pic of her dog and then asks if I have any pics to send her :wtf I have about 6 on my profile. We then arranged a date for last Sunday. I rarely drink and she was down to come over my house. Sunday rolls around and she asked if coming over in a sweat outfit was ok, she wasnt feeling well. I said thats fine but if you want to push it back a day no problem. She explained her new birth control was causing cramps :wtf Whatever, I figured that meant I was going to get some now :laughing

We settled on Monday her coming over. We text a little while I'm at work. She was looking forward to coming over. Around 7pm I tell her anytime after 8pm works as I'm just getting back running my dogs. She responds no problem.

8:30 rolls around not here, 9pm not here. I call and she answers. She said she was just getting in the car and got hung up watching a kid that she was on her way. Alamo to Danville is 10min so not too late watch a movie. See you soon I said and hung up.

10 pm not there

I call, no answer. I text that it was late and we should reschedule and hope she was alright.

The next day and asked what happened and again hope she was alright.

Havent heard from her and her OKC is still active.

Totally lost on this one. It was her idea to come over and I SPOKE to her at 9pm last monday and she said she was on her way. So weird.
