Photos of your bike on location

Here I am trying to get the Radar Station on Mt Umunhum. You can see the little square on top of the mountain off in the distance (if you look close). I was there yesterday. Curious how many miles it would be as the crow flies???

The straight line distance is about 18.5 miles based on my ruler measurement on Google Maps.

From my work next to Levi's Stadium I can see both Mt Umunhum radar station and Lick Observatory. Most people don't notice them until I point them out.

Ever had the urge to ride into the grass area inside freeway cloverleaves? Well, I've resisted that urge until today. :laughing

Test riding the new tires on Sierra Rd

The same Shinko 705 (150/70R17) rear feels very different on my R1200GS and 690SM. On the GS, Shinko 705 in the rear feels "narrow", and makes the bike wants to "fall" into corners. On the 690, the same Shinko 705 in the rear feels taller and heavier (than the bald 160/60R17 Avon Trailrider it replaced), like there's a 10-lb dumbbell attached to the rear axle. With the 705 it feels like the 690 revs and turns a bit slower - a little more stable, a little less agile.

North end of Great America Parkway. Brand new parking structure - no oil stains or tire marks. Had it all to myself.

I rented the Scout Bobber for a day.

It felt like a Superduke 990 transformed into a cruiser's body, except the low-mid range power felt meatier and more buttery. The powertrain is fantastic. The exhaust sounds great. The handling is light and not bad except for the limited ground clearance. The seat (too slippery, narrow and low) and ergo (the bar reach is too far) are ok for a couple of hours, but after 240 miles in over 7 hours I was very sore.

It's fun to ride but uncomfortable. The street tracker version with a good seat would be awesome.

HWY 35 overlook.

Stopped to do a quick vid for my 3yo grandson who loves moto’s.

So I figured I would snap a pic too. Beautiful day.
