We filled up a water-jug at the spring pipe just before there thinking we'd use in the garden, anyone know if that water is potable?

No, I haven't seen any deer anywhere for a couple of months. Saw a small mountain lion (German Shepard-sized) ran along the road in front of me about a month ago on Hicks Rd.
