Inner Richmond.

Only rode around the block in Urban mode (100 hp). Initial throttle response is soft, then picks up strongly; feels like turbo lag. I'm glad the engine is smooth at a fast walking speed. Haven't tried Touring and Sport modes (150 hp) yet.

Nice!

Don't know why I failed to take photos today. Too busy being warm and enjoying the relatively clean roads.

Awesome weekend, great ride today with my neighbor (just found out he rides as well). Took me for a local tour of the area - stopped at grizzly peak - ran to a gaggle of FZ09s.

My son and I went for a ride and in a little twisty section on the way to Carnegie a Harley dude mashed into the side of a hill. :thumbdown It looked pretty bad. The rider was lying in a ditch a little bit propped up. There was help there already and they didn’t need any more help so we continued on. Stopped at the dirt bike park and watched the dirt bikers for a bit. While stopped there the emergency vehicles came roaring past. Then rode all the way out to 580, turned around and headed back toward home. It had to be more than 1 hour by the time we got back to the accident scene. It took that long (plus however long he was already there) to get the rider loaded up into the ambulance. Ouch! Poor guy. :( Lesson learned…don’t crash out in the boonies.

The bike was still mashed into the side of the hill. I wanted to stop to take a photo of the bike but thought it would be bad karma:shame, so we continued on. :ride A nice ride for beginner son and Dad. Not so much for Harley dude.

These are from Tuesday. Hit mt Hamilton to the junction (didn't realize they didn't open until 4 pm...so no lunch stop). Continued on down and back up del Puerto canyon. Roads were decent. Undertail and rad guard and front fender had a decent amount of mud..but I didn't buy a bike to keep it clean In the garage.

I hate when it gets like this - washing/cleaning is my least favorite activity.

You win! Agreed, washing isn't the most fun. 2-4 hour ride and 2-3 hours of washing..at least for me

btw, your pictures are killer!! I've googled some of the roads you post and am going to check them out as i normally ride around the same areas.

2-3 hrs of washing???
I use the handheld wand at any do it yourself car wash, takes maybe 10 min that's it. For dirtbike or streetbike its all I've ever needed.

Shoot, I enjoyed unwinding after my ride today by washing my bike. It was a two beer job.
