I have to work at 2:30 and I've never been late yet. You should have plenty of time. :thumbup

Been riding one year.. Good enough?:ride

As long as you ride safely within your limits, you'll be fine. We don't care how fast you are or aren't. We would much rather wait than go back and drag you out of a ditch. See you tomorrow.

Normally I'm back to work by 1:00 or 1:15 at the latest, so if you work in the area, 2:00 should be no problem at all.

Meeting place: Lucky's parking lot on the corner of Hopyard and W. Las Positas

Meeting time: 11:45 a.m. (that's when we leave the parking lot)

Route: Collier Canyon Road / Highland Road - Unless someone really wants to do Palomares again. Depends on how many new guys show up.

_______________________________

Summary of today's ride: We ran Palomares both ways from the north. Lots of wildlife on the side, including deer, turkeys, and a couple of dogs. It was a beautiful day. Four bikes total on this ride.

So, who all are we expecting to show up this week? I'll be there, since I wouldn't miss a Collier Canyon ride. :teeth

In fact, I may just take that road from my house to the meeting spot. :cool

Looks like there are just two of us so far. But that's okay. Let's just hope that my clutch stays fixed. I rode all the way from Monterey on Saturday without being able to fully release the clutch. :(

The good news is that it worked just fine last night, after bleeding it.

Summary of today's ride: It was a beautiful day for a lunchtime ride with perfect weather conditions. The four of us headed east to Collier Canyon and Highland Road. It's a pretty good suspension test with only a few bits of gravel here and there. Jordan had to get to school, so bailed off when we passed the campus of Las Positas College, and Michael is being overwork at his job, so had to head back without stopping for lunch. Even with lunch, I made it back to work before 1:00.

Join us next week for another beautiful ride.

My bike was bouncing all over the place. I could feel the front end get light, and the rear end loose traction during almost every large bump.

That's what makes it "interesting".

That's also why we don't ride that road every week. Palomares feels wonderfully smooth by comparison.

Now that i know that i can make it to my class on time, i should be there almost every week

So, who is planning to ride with us tomorrow?

It's going to be a beautiful day. :cool

Me. And maybe a workplace bud on a Bonnie, if it stays fixed, and maybe another on an R1.
