We had an interesting ride today. We ran a newbie pace on Palomares south to north, then a medium pace coming back after our newbie left us to take the shorter route back home.
Once again, weather was beautiful and the road was as good as it gets. No traffic issues either.

I have been asked by a Group Rides moderator to make a
new posting from now on for each separate ride rather than continuing with one as has worked so well for all these years. Apparently a few "boneheads" made some threads go on and on and when asked to cease, complained about all the other threads that go on for months, so to be fair to everybody, we have to change the way we do things.
If you would like to voice your displeasure at this state of events, you can go to
this thread and figure out who to "thank".
So we'll have another ride next Thursday, but there will be a new thread to announce it. Look for a title something like:
Pleasanton/Dublin weekday lunch ride - Thursday, May 8, 2008. I'll most likely put up each new thread on Monday morning and I'm pretty sure it will stay on the first page until it happens, since I expect everyone to post indicating whether or not you expect to be able to make it. With the new rules, I don't mind a few less relevant posts in these threads.
But please don't post anymore on this thread.
