just picked this puppy up from Washington.
2012 golf-R, stageII tune, intake/exhaust, full suspension, 18x8, 55k miles

yeah, big reason i went with this model. 2 doors was a MUST

2013 was the last of the MK6 golf-R, and the last of the 2 doors :(
Europe still gets them, but we already knew they are always better and cooler than us :laughing

bought a new tail bag for my mediterranean bikepacking trip next spring. in this picture i have my sleeping bag, my tent, an inflatable sleeping mat, first aid kit, tools and tube spares with tons of room to spare in there.

bought 2chains because... fuck you moto thieves!

Got the NY Fahgettaboudit first. 5' six sided chain weighing about 12lbs. Also bought the blue powder coated chain Pewag rigging chain. It's a 1/2" square profile and weighing it at 20lbs.

Cool, ill look into those. I think I had a sea to summit tent on my wishlist, I'll need to see which one specifically.

its a really awesome tent, but its hard to justify spending $400+ on a piece of fabric and some string. i got mine on clearance and with a leftover gift card from returns at REI. i still spent 250 cash out of pocket. also, if you go with the sea to summit tent, ditch the aluminum poles it comes with and just find a couple sticks wherever you stop to prop it up.
