I've been working toward this for many years. Finally have it in my possession. It will look excellent with the rest of the CF parts on the Gamma.

FTM-100DR C4FM/FM Analog 144/430 MHz Dual Band Digital Transceiver
The FTM-100DR’s Dot-Matrix Display and Single Receiver design make it the ideal radio for both entry level and advanced Digital Radio enthusiasts.

The newly designed and compact front display includes a vibrant and highly visible White-LED backlit display (160x40 Full Dot Matrix) and a bright multi-colored Mode/Status Indicator to visibly and clearly inform the operator of the current state of the transceiver. I have those same ikea drawers but in white. They're cheap but they're not bad. The top just sits on mine, there was no way to secure the desktop without adhesive or drilling holes. It doesn't bother me if the top can slide around.

why does your top slide? my drawers came with rubber pads for top. Prevents sliding pretty good

Those pads didn't last long. I didn't think I was sliding the top around all that much but I guess it was enough for them to get shredded. They're 8 years old now and maybe the pads lasted a year or two but they've been gone a long time and I didn't bother to replace them.
Not being attached actually makes it easier to move the whole thing for vacuuming and stuff.
