We arrived on Sep 14, and he was looking at us through the window and waiting for us on the porch in the morning! Also, screen shot from cameras when I went out to feed him that morning. He was so skinny...

When God gives you a cat, keep it.

Thank you! He's the missing triplet for Jammer's twin boys!
He is a Korat and very handsome. The Korat is a very old breed of cat originating from Thailand. Per Wiki, the Korat is a natural breed, and one of the oldest stable cat breeds, and one of the very few that has not changed its appearance throughout centuries.

She's litter box trained, but needs to be spayed. She's a real sweetheart. Loves scritches and being held. I'm tryna call her Lilith, but waiting on permission from my stepdaughter :laughing

Wait...picking out names? Yeah, congratulations on the new kitty! 😻

I found a tiny little orange and white kitty at Pottery and Beyond in Emeryville last Friday. I'd stopped in there after going to Pet Club, and had lots of cat food in the car. One of the employees had been feeding him every day. He had 2 siblings but they had already disappeared. The pottery place has lots of plants and fountains...and raccoons and opossums. I spent 4 hours on Saturday trying to trap him with my friend Chris. She's a veteran of TNR, rescue, foster, SPCA volunteer...the whole bit. She knows what she's doing and showed me what to do. Anyway, got there at opening on Sunday and stayed til closing, waiting...and waiting...with the trap set with lots of good stinky food, and no go. The nice guy who works there put my number in his phone and said he'd call me if anyone spotted him, and of course he hasn't called yet. I checked back with him during the week, and I still have the trap sitting in my living room. I had my bathroom set up with food, water, litter box, comfy box with blanket for sleeping, a tiny mouse toy, and a hidey-hole box so he could hide from me. Eric and I were discussing names, which was my downfall. When he didn't show his sweet little face by the end of Sunday I was inconsolable. It feels like a loss, even though he was never mine. The very last thing we need right now is another cat...especially a feral kitten!...and especially after taking on Mercer, but I had already committed to this little kitty in my heart. I'm not cut out for this rescue business, I guess...

Good luck with the new kitty, and/or finding the perfect home for him/her!

he is so cute!

my son recently rescued a badly injured kitten from near a store. he took it to the vet and the kitty’s pelvis and rear leg were broken and there was nothing the vet could do given the kitty’s condition and the pelvic break. my son is nursing kitty back to health and planning to keep the little angel. kitty has pain meds and the best nurse one could ask for.

i’m so proud of my crazy cat lady son. :cry :love

It's great that your son has taken on the challenge of caregiving to such a precious kitty.

he is a true kitty lover. his babies are so spoiled. if the kitty has mobility issues but is otherwise happy we will get a little wheeled kitty butt cart.
Give him a big hug and a kiss from me!
Edit: The son and the kitty!
you don’t have to ask me twice. i love my boy. :love

We got a tabby Cosmo with a broken leg as he'd been used as bait to train fighting dogs.

It healed up fine though ended up a bit shorter than the other front leg.

He lived a long and happy life and was an angel adored by all the other cats.

Best wishes for that sort of outcome for your son.

Here he is snuggling baby Koko.

RIP Cosmo and Koko.
