Leo. First and last bath.
I just looked at Leo on a laptop. What a handsome boy. :love

I bathe my two long hair inside/outside cats. The boy kitty accepts the bathing. The girl kitty turns into a combination of Edward Scissorhands and the Tasmanian Devil.

@Jammer Sending Digby all the love. I still have lots of kitty cat love to share despite the 10000 x :love sent to @Blankpage's precious girl.

Digby is having surgery tonight to remove the obstruction.
Mustering all healing superpowers for one of my favorite gray boys 🩶

I remember the doctor who helped us with Mae saying it’s really common for this to happen, and if they can’t get them to throw it up right away they always have to go in and get it out. Meaning your ER vet has probably done this zillions of times and is very good at it. Please let us know how he’s doing.

Thank you everyone for wishing Digby a successful surgery, which is scheduled for later today. You think you've cat proofed your home and then you realize that it's not Digby proof. He and Buster were wrestling and he pulled Buster's soft collar off and ate two thirds of it. We used the collars for IDs since they are so similar, but now, no more collars!

That little shitten! (That's what I call the cats when they are naughty)

Fingers crossed.

I just spoke to the doctor and Digby is in recovery and they're having trouble restraining him because he's a wild man.

Actually everything went well; the collar was in the duodenum and was successfully removed. He should be coming home tomorrow.

Precious boy. How’s Buster handling the separation?

I switched it up and bought this version just to try

Update, this version lived up to the claim of being 99% dust free, unlike red bag version of same brand which also claims to be 99% dust free but was actually dusty as hell. And this one doesn't seem to stick to her fur.

Excellent news for Digby! Beware…Sundae was 100% Out Of Control when she came out of recovery and when she came home. Like, bouncing off the walls and going wild when she had a 2” incision stitched up on her belly. It was shocking. Some weird reaction to the drugs they gave her. I hope Digby is a good boy when he comes home, and I hope he heals up quickly and completely! I, too, am wondering how Buster is handling his brother being gone?

Buster was crying for several hours non stop and looking for his homie. He settled down a bit after getting two big love sessions with my wife. Of course I had to repeat the love sessions when I got home. He's still looking for Digby. It's a bit saddening to see him this way, but this is the nature of bonded bros when one is absent.

Must have been anxiety inducing to have such a strong reaction post recovery. Any issues with her sutures afterwards?

It was horrific to sit back and watch. We were afraid she was really going to hurt herself. She was doing back flips off the bed, literally trying to climb the walls and falling back down onto the floor, racing around at twice the speed she normally would. I should have recorded it but between the 2 of us we were just trying to herd her towards safety all night. We picked her up right before they closed so we couldn't call them to ask WTF was going on. The vet who did her surgery is the owner of the practice and she's been at it a long time. She gave Sundae way more stitches than she normally would, and put them tighter and closer together. She said it took way more anesthetic to knock her out than it should have, so she figured she'd be a little hellcat afterwards, too. She was right. I'm still amazed that she healed up with zero issues! Cats are pretty resilient. I'm sure Digby is going to be much happier when he gets home, sees his brother, and gets some food in him.

That sounds very frightening. Hopefully he'll be calm once we're home. Digby coming home...20260307_121915.jpg
