RIP Anonomous Squid on Highway 17

RIP

Thanks for the post. This is a reality check for me. It's so easy and tempting to open the throttle, but by reading this story...it makes me think twice.

RIP rider.

Well written Rob.

Rob

Your right about riding at 7/10.
Although it may not have sounded like that in my post, l also try to ride with that in mind. .
Like you and so many other riders out there, I would have been in deep S#$@ if I didn't leave a margin.
What I meant was, when you do find yourself in a hot corner or a cager pulling in front of you and your margin has dropped to say 8/10. Good riders know how to get out of trouble, when to slow down, and remember to pay attention to what their doing.

Let me ask you Rob, why did you go into the corner to hot? Going at little to fast? Corner came up to quick? Didn't know the road? What ever the reason, Shit happens and you had the knowledge and capability to get out of trouble. I believe your a good rider and what I'm saying is it's tough for some riders to resist the turning of the right wrist. You have never pushed your RC51? Not once when leaving a stop light? Not once when a cager was on your ass and you needed room? Not once when you were in the car pool lane? Come on....Rob
I like you point of pace riding though. I've been riding safely for well over 5 years, it's not from always going slow, it's from paying attention, experience, instruction and as you said leaving a margin for error.

Pass your experience on to lesser riders and hope they use it.

Alright...one more post.

Whoever the hell this rearwheelslider troll is...challenging how good of a rider, mechanic, and even a man I am? I won't even bother to answer you. Just know that you have an ass whooping headed your way should we ever cross paths. I don't give a shit if threatening (promising actually) you with violence makes me no better than you...nobody, and I fucking mean nobody comes at me with bullshit like that.

yo RobSJ....

he's not worth the time nor attention and already got banned anyway....

thnx for posting this thread , mang....

RIP :rose Khea

I just learned that it was my childhood friend. To anyone who wasn't at the accident scene and would like to place judgement on Khea, please don't. Your time will also come.

Rest in peace Khea :rose

Donoman, Toe, sorry to hear you lost a buddy.

Rob, others, I don't know what you think you are accomplishing by judging Khea.

Maybe you guys are perfect and never do anything wrong or potentially dangerous, but I know that I am far from perfect.

I will continue to speed, pop wheelies and do other stupid shit just because it makes me smile, even though I have witnessed with my own eyes friends dieing from fucking around on bikes.

Call me stupid, call me crazy, call me squid, spit on my grave, and kick my lifeless body once I wrap myself around that guardrail, tree, car, whatever. I really don't give a shit what you think and i'm sure many others here feel the same way.

I won't judge Khea, instead I will hoist a nice wheelie for him and know that he died having fun and doing something he loved.

at least... the very LEAST...
wheelie with some good gear on (gear nazi or not)

so you can improve your chances of minimal damage if you go down. also, don't take out other cagers in the process :twofinger

No. I called it as I most certainly saw it. It was a textbook definition of a squid. The total lack of gear. A jersey he had on. A fucking...basketball...jersey!!! Stunting and racing with no regard for surroundings or traffic conditions. The all too common squidly chariot of the GSXR.

I only said that to fr0ng because to be honest, I really don't have any respect for the guy who died, but I wanted to keep the thread serious. And last thing I wanted was fr0ng to sidebust in with some smart remark about never having seen a decent post out of me. I guess some time has passed, so I'll address that.

its hyprocritcal of you to tell someone (frong) to have respect for a dead man, then go on to say " I really don't have any respect for the guy who died, but I wanted to keep the thread serious."

sorry bout your friend D.

Sorry Dono, news like that always sucks.

I hope the lesson learned here is not ridding within ones limits, but rather crashing. Crashing is what leads to the loss of fellow riders. When those on this board evaluate their misconceptions that crashing is okay, then we'll have made some real traction on keeping our own "quick" and not dead.

Well gee whiz Sami...just because all the posts I've written about you haven't exactly been "decent" doesn't mean I haven't written anything helpful here. I've made what I think are quite a few serious or helpful posts, but I guess maybe you didn't see them since your name wasn't mentioned. Maybe it's you who should wear your "my life revolves around fr0ng more than you think it does shirt."

I'd like to think I frequent these forums more than you do, and I do see you post certain things without my name being brought up in them, but 99% of the things you post have some assholish-witty remark and this is the first time I had seen you post without your usual attitude..thats all I was saying.

It's hard for me to believe that ALL of the people who post negative things about the deacesed man, Khea, have never ridden fast...? We all have. That is one of the reasons we have these bikes.
Lets be respectful and try to learn something from this tragedy.

Where are my mojo points when I need them?

And who want to nominate GSXR for Darwin Greatest contributor award for the betterment of the breed.

I dont think I'll get a GSXR anymore. Too scared now.

Your post has to be one of the dumbest, most inappropriate posts I have come across. This is a thread about a rider who lost their life, its not a thread about motorcycle brand wars. Dip shit!

Whether or not the rider was riding wrecklessly and contributed to his own death is irrelevant at this point. I would prefer that people show some respect for the deceased and their family and friends. Nobody mourning the loss of a friend or loved one wants to read such insensitive remarks from people. Thats all I have to say.

THANK YOU "BLKG1K"

RIP Kea-

This is going to be hard to swallow. Knowing a person for so long ever since elementary school. He was one of my best friends who never judge people, always wanting to make people happy. Just knowing that his existence is not valid in life just puts an awful feeling. I learned so much from this guy from my first pick up football game to my first crossover dribble in basketball.

To the people out there talking shit, it just makes a situation worse. Lets say you past away, would you enjoy family members and friends read what is posted out on the forum? I didn't think so. All I am asking is RESPECT. Although his actions might be foolish, we do not know. You were not there when it happened.

Please stop apologizing to me,

I'd like to start a different thread where Khea isn't anonymous.
