Are you planning on leaving Friday? or Saturday morning?

Turns out we are leaving Friday afternoon, meeting in Petaluma 4ish pm. You are more than welcome to follow. I took the whole day off and will be sleeping in and then loading up in Santa Rosa. I am then meeting in Petaluma to pick up Mike and his brother.

We will should be getting there around 7ish or so. Depends on stops and traffic.
Let me know.

20th...... Um...looks like a lot of people have signed up for the 20th... I might be in :rolleyes

It's looking like I'm going to cop that ZZ 20th sell that a BARFer has. So I guess I'm almost certain to be doing two trackdays that weekend. :ride

I am heading out to thill for my first track day experience, I am stoked but have no idea about prep, trying to gather all essentials but still dont have any way of getting the bike to the track. I do not have a truck and my VW Golf probably cant handle a tow. any ideas? I am willing to split the gas cost for a ride

I have a 2005 honda civic it is not rated to tow and I have a 4x6 trailer with a +/-1200# capacity. I just towed 2 bikes with it and it pulled just fine. I have pulled multiple times and it handles well. Granted I am not going to out pull a Hemi. but f%#@ it is a honda and gets along good. My friend has a @ 2000 Golf and he tows a tear drop trailer with it. One of their trips was 12k miles cross country said it handled great. I would imagine that the trailer is probably +/-500#. He says the tranny is getting a little loose but still has a lot more tows in it. So, all that said I think your golf would do fine, well if thats all you have. My reason for getting the trailer was because I rode to the track ONCE. Granted it was a 2 hour ride but I said never again. Life just doesn't need to be so hard. Good luck

Well, if I do that one no problems.. I am probably going to be doing whatever is at THill or maybe Buttonwillow.. I have done both those tracks before (on 4 wheels), havent done RFR, but more than likely I will be at THill.
