what day are you heading up there?

I will be there on Friday night, maybe we can head back on Sunday together?
 
Yeah I have a wedding on Saturday partially on the way to the track so I'll probably load up Saturday and head to the track saturday night.

Let me know if you want a ride back so that I make sure I don't bring too much stuff to fit a second bike, and so I bring enough tie-downs.

I can ride back together on Sunday if you dont mind dropping me off in SF
 
This will be one of the last chances to do a T-hill track day before they pave it this summer. Then it's going to be shite for grip till the cars lay down some rubber on it. Glad we get a couple days in before. :thumbup
 
Shrubby - I've heard people getting all excited about the new pavement, but I agree with you - it won't be grippy until it's worn in a little...

Hey - never been to Thill and my gf wants to watch (she's sick that way). Are there bleachers / someplace to set up chairs? She's a little spoiled after Infineon...

There are some cool places to see the track from and set up chairs but actual bleachers...not so much like Infineon at all. I would recommend to bring a bicycle you can ride around a track and maybe carry a fold up chair with you.

If you wanna pit with us...we will be at turn 1. She would have a great view of turn 1.

BTW.....Got the hotel yesterday for Friday night! A few of us will be leaving Petaluma around 2:30ish. We will be stopping in Cordelia around 3:30ish if anybody wants to caravan up the rest of the way.

Where is everyone pitting. I usually setup just before the metal canopy or under the tree just past the hot pit entrance, just past and to the right of the canopy.

We will be out there Saturday only but I have a couple buddies, Robert and Archie that will likely be in the same spot. You can hang with those guys...they are nice guys!!
 
I'm getting pretty excited for this... So far I've been a RFR all-star (in a C group sort of way :D) and exclusively rode that track...

Should be exciting!

I wish I could bring some spicy shrimps like my wifey makes... but I doubt everyone else would like spicy/fishy tasting hamburgers and hot dogs after my stuff is done cooking. :(
