Yep, that's Erik. Great freakin day today. I'm still slow as shit but it was a nice safe day, not too hot on the track, not too crowded, and a ton of fun. Thanks again Z2. :thumbup

Today was pretty nice, it was my first trackday and I didn't fall, so I'm pretty happy. Were you riding an SV in B group? I was the even slower guy on the yellow V-Strom. I need some new tires, the stock Trail Wings don't cut it...

Nay, I was the guy on the slow SV in C group. :teeth I thought about bumping up to B but I liked the lack of pressure in C, though there were some hairy moments with people doing some really unpredictable things. I was going to pass some guy on the outside of six and he drifted right in front of me and then chopped his throttle, and this was after the apex. :wtf Had another guy dive past me into ten and then way parked it so I almost ass packed him too. And the only pass on the outside rule is tough because many of the riders won't apex the turn and drift wide anyhow. But overall traffic wasn't too bad and it was a nice safe day.

Good to see you too Justin, maybe next time I won't be such a puss and go ride with you in B. :teeth
 
Well crappy finish to swell day for me.

2nd to last session I lose the front coming in too hot in Turn 14.. lowside... doh..

I'm fine, the bike has even more character... It starts mechanically it seems to check out...

BUUUUTTTT... Now I have fluid coming from the bottom of one of my forks so I'm guess blown fork seal, hoping that it's not a bent fork... :( Any opinions?
 
I wanna thank Z2 for another wonderful day out there!!!

Still gotta work on a lot of things, had a couple "Brown Flag" moments but nothing to bad.

Sorry to hear about the lowside and the bike...I had a couple friends that went down in Turn 14 today as well.

Glad to hear that of what I heard everyone was ok!!!
 
Had a great time this weekend and it was great meeting Steve, Erik and Mica (sp?) this weekend. Had a slight incident today at turn 6, but everything ended up ok and I was able to finish out the rest of the day. Like always Z^2 puts on a great event and I can't wait to get back out there.
 
I feel bad for the guy that went down on Turn 5 in the morning.
At least the guy on the yellow bike got some track time in before turn 5 got him.

And then he drops the bike again... wow.
 
Was it a red bike? I saw that on my first moto, felt bad for him too. It didn't look bad, but it sucks to be out a buck ninety after ten minutes of riding. Doesn't everyone know to save crashing until the end of the day??

Yeah, it was the red twin... 500 maybe? Dual stock exhaust. Poor guy.

Then there was the yellow one, looked like a GSXR. I was watching from the pits. He was out in the dirt, had it up standing next to it, then it dropped down hill. Man, that's a tough day.
