God, now I can remember but, don't tell ny wife! When I lived in Tahoe I had a place in Kings Beach right on the lake. My buddy farmer Ted came over with a vial of gel acid. We put a bunch on sugar cubes and off we went. It was summer and we grabbed our mask and snorkels and went snorkeling. We were frying hard and snorkeled from King Beach over to Incline Village anf back. About 4 hours in the water! We found caves and evidence of Atlantis and even formed our own language under water. Not to mention getting the deepest darkest back tan ever. Fear and Loathing in Lake Tahoe...

in the summer, on the surface isnt that bad, but it gets cold quick the deeper u go....

Tahoe is always cold. But I bet it would be a trip to be swimming.
