Nice moon shot. My old coworker is super into astrophotography, so much so that he bought a piece of land in BFE Nevada just for shooting. He's ridiculously good at shooting and processing, kind of stuff you'd see in non-FOX Nat-Geo. I'd love to get into it, just can't commit right now. Almost certainly later in life though. Keep posting, they're so much fun to look at.

Here's one from this evening, we sure get some nice sunsets out here..

You can buy like 25 acre plots for like 5gs out in the middle of nowhere Nevada

What's the magnification?
Servos rotating telescope must be very precise. At that magnification I would guess just a few seconds of angular rotation and target would be out of view.
Anyhow hard to see a photo like that and not wonder whats out there.

We don't use magnification really as it's a subjective term. Everything gets defined in angles. The field of view of this scope/camera is 50 arcminutes on the short side (~ 0.8degrees).

Pleides/M45 is coming up over the horizon at this time of the year. If you look NE at about 2200'ish you'll see a nice visible cluster. Looks great in binoculars also.
