Pipo Derani's time of 1:32.656 in the Cadillac - Whelen #31 GTP car is a second faster than that of the old track record and 1.4 seconds up on last year's pole time. :party

Sebastien Bourdais, Derani’s Cadillac Racing counterpart in the Chip Ganassi Racing GTP #01 car was the closest challenger to Derani, falling only 0.071s behind to take second. :party

Porsche placing 3rd, BMW in 4th, and Acura 5th, all with times in the low 1:33's

Should be a very good 24 hour race!

I knew they would sell out quickly but by 3PM this afternoon they were SOLD OUT!
Last year ticket sales didn't close until the next morning.

It's really a sweet deal @$675.00 for 2 people and three days at the Hospitality Suite on the hill just passed the bridge on main straight and into turn 2. Plus you can see the cars out of 3 and up the hill and then again after they come out below the Corkscrew section. Or stay inside and watch the race on big screens.

The Track Hospitality Suites above the pit lane / garages are about $580.00 per person and it's only Saturday and Sunday. Yes, you get see the cars in the pits and coming out of 11, passed S/F and under the bridge but that's pretty much it. Unless you watch inside on big screens.

It is and have always had a great time! People bring some pretty pumped up / trick "V's". Hope CADILLAC brings back the V-Performance CAR CORRAL at the LBGP next year, cause it's been a couple of years they didn't host one. It's a great venue too.
 
Cadillac takes 1 - 2 at yesterday's LBGP ISMA race!!! :party :thumbup

Chip Ganassi Racing’s #01 with Bourdais and van der Zande did a one pit stop, no tires strategy to get ahead of the sister Action Express Cadillac #31 of Pipo Derani and Jack Aitken to score a 1-2 finish.
