:thumbup Massive props to SCL:thumbup I won't go into detail about the type of pain in the a** customer I can be but these guys were the best. I cant say enough about how well I was treated before during and after the lease of my bike. Nice friendly knowledgeable people. Lookin for a ride?:ride Talk to Joe at Sport Cycle Leasing:thumbup Thanks again Joe!

Yeah...I would seriously consider leasing a bike from them in the future. Glad to hear another satisfied customer

Yup, and this place has got new bikes, used bikes, bikes for the newb, and the seasoned rider. If your in the market they are definately worth checking out.

This is news to me, but very very interesting! Quick question for everyone though: I looked at their website and they say 3 bay area dealerships but they don't mention where they are other than a location in Redwood City. Where are the other locations?

MDK in Redwood City, Oakland, and Folsom I think

hopefully he has hired some help, he was so busy at the time I bought my first bike from him, that it wasnt exactly a pleasant experience

At SCL they go outa their way to keep the customer happy. Good people giving out great deals on motorcycles.

I'm seriously considering these guys. Any thoughts on how they are with not-so-great credit? I've got $$$ for payments no problem, but I can't get a loan. :(

Nick, I met you when you on highway 1. Something about running out of gas???? :rofl:rofl:rofl . I work for Joe browning and I can tell you, he will take care of you. You should really consider seeing him. Let me know if you have any questions. :thumbup

Yeah, that was me. I didn't wanna tell everybody at the time, but I had no job and was desperately broke when I went on that ride. Just needed an escape from that whole reality thing. Stuff's a bit better now :laughing I'll definitely be giving a call or visit in the next few days.

are the leases only on brand new bikes 0 miles on the odo?? and the guy that started the thread.. what did you lease?? hopefully not a buell like ur profile says

SCL Leases/sells new and used bikes-ALL makes(kawi/honda/suz/duc/buell/ect...) And yes I did lease my Buell there. Is there a problem with that?

Will have to stop by SCL one of these days. I've been buying my last 3 bikes, but I can't seem to hold onto a bike for more than 1-2 years. Leasing sounds like a very good option for my situation.

Another question - Do you guys know if it is okay to take these leased bikes on the track?

They dont really care what you do with it as long as you have INS and it comes back to SCL in the condition it left.

So, I tried to call the number that SCL has listed on their site...rang and rang and rang...after about two minutes I gave up. Any ideas guys?

As long as it is not a timed event - racing

Track Days are ok :thumbup

Sometimes it's hard to get a hold of them. If you leave a message with your phone number they usually will call back shortly. Or you could call Joe's cell phone. He's posted in online and its on SCL's business card so give it a try. 650-454-4275
