A record flyover at a sporting event (unconfirmed) 49 planes.

Private clubs, because the USA cannot afford jet fly overs for KC... :p

The best fly-by I ever experienced was back in 88 Travis Air Show when the SR-71 flew pass the show during the mid-day presentations.

It flew about 200ft above us going slow at first almost silently gliding towards the crowd. Halfway through it pitched its nose up and hit the after burners. Long blue flames with orange like rings encircling the flame shot out and an huge thundering roar blasted at the crowd as it shot up like a rocket.

At that time with the music and all it felt so proud to be American.

It was an awesome sight.
