Airplane! is a remake of Zero Hour. It's fascinating to watch it today.

At that time engines were normally aspirated 1.5 liter. According to Wikipedia, the Coventry Climax V8 in Jim Clark's 1963 championship-winning Lotus made 195hp.

Anyone else think the narrator might be Burl Ives? Coincidentally, I found his version of "Big Rock Candy Mountain" recently after hearing it in a Better Call Saul episode.
