The Home Grower's Thread

Is this for a promotion with in the same company? Or a new position at a new company?
Since marijuana is legal in California, there really isn’t much they can do unless your position is a sensitive one and subject to regular drug testing, like operating a vehicle at work.
Good luck
New company, and nobody cares it's legal for recreational use. Their policy maybe for a insurance clause etc, I won't be driving but will hafta do physical/drug test

If you're not a daily user like I am you probably want to stop ASAP and start drinking a lot of water. Apparently, you might not want to lose weight because it's fat soluble. I also recommend picking up some home urine tests and putting the test off for at least 10 days.

ANd you're 100% right it's for insurance and liability. My buddy works for Slingbox..IN COLORADO...and they test. He passed though and still smokes.

Bruce gave me a huge branch/clone from a plant that's perfectly healthy but hasn't developed any roots. It's way too big for a clone dome. What should I do to keep it alive until it roots?

What are the other plants sprouting? Clover?

Using a rooting hormone?

You can use honey. Dip the rooting end in some and then place in your medium of choice.

Have a spare plant? Do a graft.

If you dip a stem in honey and plant it in any medium it will rot, not root.

Grafting is for fruit trees, no professional cannabis growers graft for a number of reasons, but primarily because it confers no advantage with modern genetics.

Lost the fermentor it wasn't doing anything useful. I doubt the bag is helping either the CO2 is the same in the tent as my livingroom.

Not sure if you read your own links (I know you are prolific google sourcer across many threads), but neither honey nor grafting is appropriate for the tent gardener in this thread. Not only because of superior off the shelf products now available, but for many reasons your links explained.

Don’t wait for me to run down the list. It’s just bad advice for the HOMEGROWERS thread.

God damn man, that’s perfect humidity but why is is so hot in your tent? Aren’t you using LED? Maybe put the humidifier outside your air intake? Is that thing ultrasonic?

Plant looks god though. Lower temps in indoor environments help. But if you add CO2 80+ would be just right.

My comments weren't some random google search. I only searched for support after it was inferred I was so wrong.

I'm not a tent gardener but I do have a 250sqft greenhouse. I have rooted and grafted thousands of plants in my life. It's a simple enough process. Not sure why it wouldn't work here but :dunno maybe you'll be kind enough to say...

What is your recommendation? You haven't really provided one other than mine is wrong.

Would you really encourage someone to go out and by root powder for 1 plant? 1 plant? 1?

Cut @ 45 degree angle and dipped in clonex. Did the same with a mini clone I took from the clone.

(the black is dirt, this is pre-dip)

A clone of a clone...

Better than a son of a bitch!

Compost tea: Worm castings and compost in a paint straining bag zip-tied shut in water with molasses, liquid seaweed, PH'd to 6.8 after 24 hours of aeration with air stone and pump.

Cleaned up the tent lots of room. The plant is nearrrrrlly at the first SCROG screen.

Moved the humidifier near the door for easier filling.

Canopy is looking amazing after the compost tea. Really stretched up. Within a few days I'm sure the trellis will really be effective. I bent a few of the taller ones under for now.

Also defoliated under the light canopy.

Beautiful trunk forming. Almost like a bad mainlining job.

Think I should do a heavier defoliation?
